Introducing Antseed Points: Get rewarded for using AI

Earn ANTS while you build apps, create videos, or put AI agents to work.
Antseed is an open market for AI, where independent providers compete to serve the models you use. Rewards help providers grow and improve their services, while giving back to the people using the network.
With Antseed Points, you earn points when you spend on AI through the network. Every Thursday, you can claim your share of the ANTS airdrop directly to your wallet.
How you earn points
When you use Antseed, you’re choosing both a model and a provider. Each provider has a boost based on how much ANTS people have staked behind it and how long they’ve locked it for. A higher boost means more points for every dollar you spend.
That gives you another reason to compare providers. Spend $10 with a 2× boost and you earn 20 points. Spend the same $10 with a 5× boost and you earn 50. You could be using the same model and earning more points just by choosing a different provider.
You don’t need to stake to earn points. You benefit from your provider’s boost when you use qualifying paid AI. If you also stake ANTS in a provider’s pool, you help raise its boost for everyone using it and earn from a separate pool of staking rewards.
Antseed Points lets you compare providers, find the models you want, and follow both sources of rewards in one place. Points come from qualifying paid usage, so free models and providers with a 0× boost won’t earn you points.

Your weekly ANTS rewards
Antseed rewards are built to run week after week for years. You can keep earning through the AI you use and the providers you back, with a new round of rewards available to claim every Thursday. Reward amounts change over time, and the total ANTS released each week halves roughly every two years.
Each week on Antseed is called an epoch. During that week, everyone who earns buyer points shares in a pool of ANTS rewards, and your points determine your portion. Every Thursday, the epoch ends and you can claim your rewards.

For example, imagine the week ends like this:
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| ANTS in the buyer reward pool | 250,000 |
| Points earned by all buyers | 100,000 |
| Your points | 1,000 |
| Your share of the points | 1% |
| Your buyer reward in ANTS | 2,500 |
Your 1% of the points earns you 1% of the pool. Each buyer can claim up to 5% of the pool.
The buyer reward pool’s size depends on qualifying paid usage across the network that week. A busier week can mean more ANTS available, but there may also be more points sharing the pool. The same number of points can earn different amounts of ANTS from one week to the next, so your reward stays an estimate until the week ends.
Every Thursday, the week closes and you can claim your share of the ANTS airdrop directly to your wallet.
To make the most of the program, you can combine the two: choose a provider with a higher boost for the AI you use, and stake ANTS behind a provider you want to support. You’ll earn points from your usage and additional ANTS from the staking pool. Those staking rewards are separate from the 5% buyer cap, so you can keep earning from your stake even when you’ve reached that cap.
In the leaderboard below, the top buyer and the person who spent $188 have both reached the buyer reward cap of roughly 12,600 ANTS. The $188 buyer also has about 21,200 ANTS staked, adding roughly 1,500 ANTS in estimated staking rewards. That brings their estimated total to around 14,100 ANTS, even though they have fewer buyer points.

Providers earn rewards for the paid AI usage they serve, too. They have their own pool, with the same 5% cap per provider.

What you can do with ANTS

You can put the ANTS you earn back into the network by staking behind a provider you trust. That helps raise its boost for everyone using it, while giving you a share of the weekly staking rewards alongside what you earn from using AI.
When you stake, you receive an lANTS NFT that holds the details of your position: which provider you’re backing, how much ANTS you’ve staked, and how long it’s locked. You can hold it and collect rewards, list it for sale, or buy someone else’s position. If yours sells, the buyer takes over the stake and its remaining lock, while the ANTS stay in the pool.
If you choose to withdraw before your lock ends, 5–50% of your stake is burned, so it’s worth understanding the staking and lock terms before choosing a position.
We’re also planning to let you pay for AI on Antseed with ANTS alongside USDC, so the rewards you earn could go toward the next app you build, video you generate, or agent you run. Payments with ANTS are still being designed and aren’t available yet.
We want the people using AI, providing it, and backing providers to share in what they’re helping build. Antseed Points gives you a way to see your part in that.
Find a provider offering the models you want, compare its boost, and start using AI through Antseed. You can follow your points and weekly rewards on Antseed Points, then claim your share of the airdrop every Thursday.
